With over Three Decades of Experience in the Industry, Silva, a Versatile Sports and Entertainment executive, will be In Charge of TNA Wrestling, Invicta FC & Fight Network

NEW YORK – DECEMBER 12, 2024 – On this day, Anthem Sports & Entertainment Inc., a global multi-platform media corporation, pronounces the selection of prominent sports executive Carlos Silva as Anthem Sports Group’s President. He will manage the progression, enhancement, and circulation of valued Anthem assets comprising of the legendary TNA Wrestling league, the pioneering all-female MMA organization Invicta Fighting Championships, and the worldwide streaming media channel Fight Network. Silva will report directly to Leonard Asper, the President and CEO of Anthem in this new role.

Silva has been at the helm, significantly growing many sports and media properties throughout his career, including World Series of Fighting/Professional Fighters League; C360, which was sold to Cosm; WorldTeamTennis; The Washington Citi Open ATP500 Tennis Tournament; Barrett-Jackson; Universal Sports Network, which ultimatum was sold to NBC to create the Olympic Channel; Back9 Network; and orchestrated the sale of Netchannel, one of the first interactive television companies, to AOL, where he amplified and expanded AOLNews and AOLSports into prominent online destinations.

Before joining Anthem Sports Group, Silva was a Partner and President of SeventySix Capital Sports Advisory, and he will continue to be part of this collaboration. Additionally, his investment banking career involves being Managing Director and Executive in Residence at Park Lane, where he raised capital and negotiated major content and technology agreements.”
