The Rock & Undisputed WWE Undisputed Champion Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes & World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins is the headliner of night one of WWE WrestleMania 40. Night two will feature Reigns vs. Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray gave his thoughts on various topics, including the ongoing feud. Here are the highlights:

WWE putting the spotlight back on Reigns:

“They connected that dot because now I know that everything The Rock did to Cody, bloodying him up, hitting him with the weight belt, taking the boots to him, yada yada, was all done at The Tribal Chief’s request. They put the spotlight right back on Roman, right where it belongs, because there have been times here where The Rock is pulling away from everybody. It was becoming more about Cody and Rock, and if it was about Cody and Rock, then maybe Cody and Rock should be headlining Night Two of WrestleMania.”

Why it’s important to keep the spotlight on Reigns:

“They’re not. Night Two of WrestleMania is Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes for the Universal Championship. You have to keep the spotlight and the credibility on Roman. Roman is the steak. Rock can be the potatoes, Rock can be the vegetables; can be all this…but he can’t be the main thing on the plate right now. You have the most prestigious World Championship on the planet at stake, Night Two, between Roman and Cody. That’s where it has to stay.”

The Rock & Undisputed WWE Undisputed Champion Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes & World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins is set to be the headliner of night one of WWE WrestleMania 40. This highly anticipated matchup has generated a lot of excitement among wrestling fans. However, there has been some debate about the positioning of this match and the spotlight it puts on Roman Reigns.

In a recent interview on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray, a former professional wrestler and current wrestling analyst, shared his thoughts on the ongoing feud and the decision to put the spotlight back on Reigns. According to Ray, the WWE made the right move by connecting the dots and making it clear that everything The Rock did to Cody Rhodes was at the request of Roman Reigns.

“They connected that dot because now I know that everything The Rock did to Cody, bloodying him up, hitting him with the weight belt, taking the boots to him, yada yada, was all done at The Tribal Chief’s request,” Ray explained. “They put the spotlight right back on Roman, right where it belongs.”

Ray believes that there have been times when The Rock was pulling away from everyone else and the focus was shifting more towards Cody Rhodes. He argues that if the feud was primarily about Cody and The Rock, then they should be headlining Night Two of WrestleMania. However, by keeping the spotlight on Reigns, the WWE is ensuring that he remains the main attraction.

“You have to keep the spotlight and the credibility on Roman,” Ray emphasized. “Roman is the steak. Rock can be the potatoes, Rock can be the vegetables; can be all this…but he can’t be the main thing on the plate right now.”

Ray also highlighted the importance of maintaining the prestige of the Universal Championship by having it defended by Reigns against Cody Rhodes on Night Two of WrestleMania. He believes that this is where the focus should stay, as it showcases the most prestigious World Championship on the planet.

“You have the most prestigious World Championship on the planet at stake, Night Two, between Roman and Cody. That’s where it has to stay,” Ray stated.

Overall, Bully Ray’s analysis sheds light on the decision to put the spotlight back on Roman Reigns and keep the focus on his feud with Cody Rhodes. By doing so, the WWE is ensuring that Reigns remains the main attraction and that the Universal Championship retains its prestige. Wrestling fans can look forward to an intense and highly anticipated matchup between these two talented athletes at WrestleMania 40.
