Bully Ray Wants Cody Rhodes Moved To SmackDown – Feud With John Cena

Could Cody Rhodes be drafted to SmackDown and start a feud with John Cena as soon as this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown on FOX?

On this week’s RAW, it was announced that somebody will be moved to the blue brand to replace Jey Uso, who was confirmed as part of the RAW roster at WWE Payback.

On “Busted Open Radio,” Bully Ray shared his reasoning for why Rhodes should be the one to make the move.

“Well, Cena’s gonna be on ‘SmackDown. It’d be a hell of a final feud before Cody has to go on to Roman.

“If Cody and Cena spent the next couple of months together leading up to the Royal Rumble, you’re going to have some passing of the torch moments. You’re gonna have the ability to have that moment where Cena finally raises Cody’s hands and Cena gives the ultimate endorsement of, ‘WWE Universe, you’re looking at your next Universal Champion.’”

John Cena will be a regular on WWE programming through to the end of October.
