In the most recent episode of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, wrestling personality Bully Ray brought up his perception that AEW President, Tony Khan, should withdraw from Twitter and halt his practice of booking based on social media fans’ interests.

Speaking on the creative dilemmas faced by AEW, Bully Ray made his stance: “I’m not quite sure if it’s right to put the blame on Tony Khan’s creativity anymore. In my opinion, the ripple effect caused by the AEW fan community on social media might be the real culprit. These are followers that Tony pays attention to, and in doing so, he attempts to please them with his arrangements”. He continued, “I’m of the view that this strategy has backed AEW into a corner.”
Bully Ray also suggested that Khan should keep a distance from social media, stating, “I’m of the opinion that Tony should turn off his Twitter apparatus and make bookings according to his own preferences rather than trying to appease online critics.”
