Bully Ray: ‘That Was No Promo, That Was Ashley Fliehr Talking To Richard Fliehr’

Bully Ray has nothing but praise for last night’s emotional segment between Charlotte and Ric Flair on WWE RAW.
“That was as real as real gets last night,” said Bully on Busted Open. “There was no promo. That was Ashley Fliehr talking to Richard Fliehr. Straight up shoot, brother. How are you not into it? … In the past 48 hours, you saw Sasha Banks put Charlotte Flair over on the ‘Broken Skull Sessions,’ and last night you saw Charlotte lay it out there for her dad and be completely honest and vulnerable. At the end of everything, she may have come on a little strong … but she said, ‘Dad. I appreciate you, everything you’ve done for me and I love you.’ She wanted to end it on a positive note. … If you can’t see her in a different light or you can’t move away from the hatred of this women then I don’t know what will ever do it for you.

“From a performance point of view, especially last night, Charlotte Flair beat the s— out of Nia Jax last night. Charlotte Flair was a general last night. She made all those women work up last night. She was all business in that ring. Don’t even watch the punches and the chops, watch her face. Look at the intent in her eyes. She’s a workhorse that has been forced to work down lately.”
