In a recent episode of the “Busted Open Radio” talk show, Bully Ray provided justification for the CM Punk versus Drew McIntyre fight to be the headline event of WWE Bad Blood 2024.
The WWE Bad Blood 2024 event, set to take place on the 5th of October in Atlanta, Georgia, will see Punk and McIntyre go head-to-head in a high-stakes Hell In A Cell match.
Here are some key points from Bully Ray’s podcast discussion:
Bully Ray’s thoughts on the much-anticipated duel of CM Punk and Drew McIntyre headlining the event: “On the card, you have your unbeaten champion participating, alongside the most prominent fan favourite in the company, Roman Reigns. This, to me, constitutes the best storyline in WWE currently. But specifically for this event, I believe McIntyre and Punk have earned the honor to be the closing act. This, in my view, is your headline event.”
His predictions for the Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes collaboration: “This partnership could lead to a variety of outcomes: a potential internal conflict between Cody and Roman, the introduction of a new wrestler, or even the return of a previous attendee.”
