In the previous episode of WWE SmackDown, Roman Reigns made an effort to reach out to his advisor, Paul Heyman, only to find out that the contact was unreachable.
During a fresh episode of the celebrated “Busted Open Radio” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray revealed his speculate on the return of Heyman to the WWE TV screen.
The ex-ECW champion predicted that Heyman would unveil the fifth teammate of The OG Bloodline in the upcoming WarGames competition at Survivor Series 2024.
It has been some time since Heyman appeared on WWE TV. His last appearance was when he was assaulted by Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline at the end of June.
Speaking his mind, Ray confidently states, “I’m of the opinion that Paul Heyman will resurface when he presents that fifth participant to the team. Let’s be logical here, folks. The inclusion of a fifth member in The OG Bloodline seems critical, isn’t it? And it is unlikely to be Seth [Rollins]. Seth and Paul share no connection, and since The OG Bloodline had already approached Seth, who turned down the offer.”
The podcast also saw ECW legend Tommy Dreamer share his thoughts on the downfall of Chase U during Tuesday night’s WWE NXT, which saw Ridge Holland victorious over Andre Chase.
Here are some key points discussed during the podcast:
Talking about Chase U: “I had a thing for Chase U. I admired how it created possibilities for countless men and women…I’m not happy that it’s no more, but I’m glad to witness Ridge Holland rising to prominence. By this, I mean he has been playing the villainous character. He’s had a significant transformation since he returned to ‘NXT.’ And it seems like it’s hitting the right cords.”
Discussing why the group should not be reinstated: “Don’t resurrect it as it was bound by a stipulation, then you are belittling all those fans who were involved and invested. I despise when pro wrestling has done this. If you wish to navigate it in a different direction…take into account, where a host of talent fits in, it’s also year-end. 2025 is fast approaching. I firmly believe Chase U…it will be advantageous for these talents to strive and attain popularity without that foundation.”
