In a recent episode of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray weighed in on Vince McMahon’s comments concerning his Netflix documentary.
Netflix is now streaming the “Mr. McMahon” biographical series, chronicling details about McMahon’s professional journey and personal life.
The six-part documentary series, each episode an hour long, scrutinizes numerous allegations of sexual misconduct aimed at McMahon by a number of women over an extended period.
Reflecting on McMahon’s remark about the series, Bully Ray noted, “I’m surprised that Vince didn’t just contact Netflix and suggest: hey, I’ll write you a check to refrain from airing this documentary. I’m shocked he didn’t just attempt to purchase it.”
Speaking about the content of the series itself, Bully Ray observed: “Going by Vince’s comments, I see no way this portrait of him can be anything but negative. He concedes in the comment, just after viewing the trailer, that it doesn’t cast him in a favorable light.”
As we informed earlier here at eWn, McMahon indeed took the action that Ray suggested. Nonetheless, Netflix declined McMahon’s offer and proceeded with the documentary’s release.
