On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray critiqued WWE’s poor direction for The Good Brothers and not propelling them into something bigger.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On the Good Brothers: “The situation with the lack of use of the Good Brothers over the years has always kind of bothered me, and it bothers me for a very specific reason. Me and D-Von’s last night in the WWE, Monday Night Raw at the Barclay’s Center in 2016, they asked us to do a favor for the Good Brothers.”

On WWE wasting The Good Brothers after The Dudley Boyz put them over: “Me and D-Von were more than happy to do it for them because they were good dudes that we got along with. And we thought they were going to use that night to help propel those guys into something special. And it never happened. So it was done for no good reason.”

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson appeared on last Tuesday’s edition of WWE NXT, where they defeated Edris Enofe and Malik Blade in a tag team match.

In a recent episode of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray expressed his disappointment with WWE’s handling of The Good Brothers, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. Ray criticized the company for not capitalizing on the momentum gained from The Dudley Boyz putting them over in their last match with WWE.

Ray recalled that on his and D-Von’s final night in WWE in 2016, they were asked to do a favor for The Good Brothers on Monday Night Raw at the Barclay’s Center. Despite being happy to help out, Ray and D-Von expected that this would be an opportunity to push Gallows and Anderson into something bigger and more significant. However, that never came to fruition, leaving Ray feeling that their efforts were in vain.

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson recently made an appearance on WWE NXT, where they emerged victorious in a tag team match against Edris Enofe and Malik Blade. This appearance has sparked speculation among fans about the future direction of The Good Brothers in WWE.

The Good Brothers, known for their time in New Japan Pro-Wrestling as part of the Bullet Club, joined WWE in 2016. They initially had a promising start, aligning themselves with AJ Styles and Finn Balor. However, their momentum seemed to fizzle out over time, with inconsistent storylines and limited opportunities.

Despite their talent and popularity among fans, The Good Brothers have struggled to establish themselves as top-tier performers in WWE. Many believe that their potential has been wasted, and they have not been given the chance to showcase their full capabilities.

In recent years, WWE has faced criticism for not effectively utilizing certain talents and failing to capitalize on their potential. This has led to frustration among both fans and wrestlers who feel that they are not being given the opportunities they deserve.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for The Good Brothers in WWE. Their appearance on NXT could be a sign of a renewed push for the duo, or it could be a one-off appearance with no significant follow-up. Only time will tell if WWE will finally recognize the potential of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson and give them the platform they deserve to shine.
