In the recent episode of the popular podcast “Busted Open Radio”, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray spoke about the impending title match between current WWE NXT Champion Ethan Page and Trick Williams. The match was labeled as a do-or-die situation for the ex-champion by Bully Ray.
In Bully Ray’s own words, “I am convinced tomorrow night’s match is a make-or-break scenario for Trick Williams. He needs to triumph over Ethan Page. If Williams loses, it will represent a minor setback for him. Through my interactions with him, I have sensed something within him that he himself may be unaware of; something that’s hidden within him, lying dormant. From my three decades of experience in wrestling, I am able to perceive it, sense it, and be certain it exists. The pertinent question is – who in NXT possesses the knack to bring this hidden trait out of him? I don’t think any of his contemporaries possess that ability.”
Sharing the ring with Page and Williams as the referee will be CM Punk. He further added excitement to the match by hinting at a surprise for the wrestling fans attending the event at the AllState Arena.
CM Punk teased his followers on Instagram by saying, “Hey, if you’re a fan of wrestling, do turn up at the AllState Arena tomorrow night for the WWE NXT’s inaugural event on The CW Network. Or perhaps if you’re just feeling peckish, I don’t know. Just a thought…”
