Bully Ray Expresses Desire for WrestleMania 40 Showdown Between Cody Rhodes and The Rock

Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins will face The Rock and Roman Reigns in a tag team headliner at WrestleMania 40 (Night One). Rhodes will then challenge Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 40 (Night Two).

On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray expressed his excitement for the WrestleMania 40 headliners. He said,

“I know what I’m guaranteed on night one, and then the excitement of the finish of night one will carry over to night two. Do I want to see Cody and The Rock face-to-face? Yes. I already know I’m getting Cody and Roman face-to-face on night two. I want Cody and The Rock face-to-face, and they better not get too close because you’re just going to see how damn big Rocky really is.”

WWE WrestleMania 40 will be held at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA.

Ray also praised the new production changes and elements of WWE programming, such as the long shots showing Superstars going through the Gorilla Position on WWE RAW.

He said, “One of the things I liked about RAW, and I don’t know if you picked up on this, is the continuity of the shots, or the continuing of the shots, back through Gorilla. All of those jump cuts that were giving me seizures are gone. We’re following the action, and as we’re following the action, we’re seeing other talent get involved in the shot … I’m enjoying the new production of WWE.”

Lee Fitting was appointed the new WWE Head of Media & Production following Kevin Dunn’s exit late last year.

WrestleMania 40 is shaping up to be an exciting event for wrestling fans, with a tag team headliner and a highly anticipated championship match. Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins will team up to face The Rock and Roman Reigns in the tag team headliner on Night One of the event.
