Bully Ray – ‘Dominik Has Distanced Himself From His Dad But Charlotte Hasn’t’

Charlotte Flair & Dominik Mysterio may both be multi-generational talents, but there are a lot of differences between the two.

Dominik is the son of Rey Mysterio, who was given that name by his uncle, while Charlotte is the daughter of two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair.

On “Busted Open,” Bully Ray pointed out that Dominik has tried to make his own name and distance himself from his father in a way that Charlotte never has. He said,

“Charlotte and Ric are still kind of attached at the hip and might be forever, no matter what she does, no matter how great she is. Right now, every time I see Dom, I don’t think about Rey.

“When I see Charlotte, I do think about Ric a little bit still. It’s like implanted in my head, but that’s what I’m loving the most at the moment about Dom.”

Last month, Dominik captured his first singles title, the NXT North American Championship. Charlotte Flair will challenge for the Women’s Universal title at SummerSlam.
