WWE/TNA Hall of Famer Bully Ray hopes to see GUNTHER crowned the next King of the Ring when the tournament comes to a close later this month.
On this week’s episode of WWE RAW, GUNTHER was victorious in his first-round match with a victory over Sheamus, who won the tournament in 2010.
On a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Bully Ray shared why GUNTHER should win the entire tournament. He said,
“Last night, the defeat of Sheamus is a strong win for GUNTHER. Because Sheamus was GUNTHER kinda before GUNTHER was GUNTHER.
“At the end of the day, I think GUNTHER should win it all. None of those names on the other side jump out at the obvious pick… I mean if GUNTHER beats Randy [Orton] that’s a big deal. That’s a big deal.”
The finals of the King of the Ring tournament will take place at WWE King and Queen of the Ring pay-per-view event on May 25, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
