Bully Ray Discusses Jon Moxley’s Bloodless Fork Spot In Blood & Guts Match

WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray was left scratching his head over Jon Moxley’s fork spot this week inside Blood & Guts.

During this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Team Blackpool Combat Club (Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli, Konosuke Takeshita, and PAC) lost to Team Elite (Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, ‘Hangman’ Adam Page, and Kota Ibushi.)

Speaking about the match on Thursday episode of “Busted Open Radio,” Bully Ray said he enjoyed the spectacle but was somewhat confused by Moxley’s spot. He said,

“The one aspect of the match I was scratching my head about was when Moxley came in the cage. Moxley comes in and the first thing he does is go for a fork. He pulls out the fork and he starts repeatedly sticking it in Kenny’s head. Then he goes over to Hangman and repeatedly sticks it in Hangman’s head.”

Neither of these spots would draw blood, something that Bully Ray feels may have been an intentional decision on AEW’s behalf. He said,

“That was odd. I almost thought that was a subliminal FU from Jon Moxley to everyone that has complained about blood in Moxley’s matches.”

This week’s match was the third Blood & Guts match in history. The premise was introduced in 2020 but had to be delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
