Ivar is in the midst of a singles run on WWE RAW due to his partner Erik being sidelined with an injury, and WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray appreciates his solo performances.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On why he’s been impressed with Ivar: “Ivar has been… impressing the hell out of me, lately. It’s very difficult to be a tag wrestler, first of all, and then break out on your own and have even a small amount of success. Very few have done it… He’s having some really good matches. Double thumbs up from me for the job that Ivar has been doing on his own. However, last night, he had to talk, and when he did, he lost me.”

On Ivar needing to work on his speaking: “I don’t need some over-the-top Viking Norse gimmick. What I need is for the voice to match the man.”

In a recent interview with The Wrestling Classic, Bianca Belair shared her experience of being followed everywhere by the camera while filming for the upcoming Hulu reality series Love & WWE: Bianca & Montez.

You can check out some highlights from the interview below:

On it being strange to be followed by cameras for the show: “It was. I will admit [that], and it’s funny because you would think that I’m used to having cameras in my face, but that’s when I’m at work. That’s when I’m at ‘Raw’ and I’m at ‘SmackDown,’ and I’m Bianca Belair, and that red light comes on and I turn it on. At home, I’m ready to turn it off. In real life, I’m actually a shy person, and I’m more laid back and more reserved. My husband … who he is is who I get at home 24/7, wild and crazy.”

On adjusting to the situation: “Cameras are following you around for Smackdown and the live house shows on Saturday and Sunday, then ‘Raw’ Monday, then you come home Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and they’re still following you around. But I just wanted to be myself at home and show who I am outside of it. So it was an adjustment, but I got to be just genuine and real. So hopefully everyone enjoys it.”

Ivar, one-half of the popular tag team The Viking Raiders, is currently embarking on a singles run in WWE RAW. While his performances in the ring have impressed many, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray believes that Ivar needs to work on his promo skills.

In a recent episode of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Bully Ray expressed his appreciation for Ivar’s work as a singles superstar. He acknowledged the difficulty of transitioning from a tag team wrestler to a solo act and commended Ivar for his success in this endeavor. However, Bully Ray pointed out that Ivar’s speaking abilities need improvement.

According to Bully Ray, Ivar’s character doesn’t necessarily need an over-the-top Viking Norse gimmick. Instead, he believes that Ivar’s voice should match his persona. Effective promos are crucial in professional wrestling as they help build storylines, create emotional connections with the audience, and elevate a wrestler’s overall presence.

On a different note, WWE Superstar Bianca Belair recently shared her experience of being followed by cameras for the upcoming Hulu reality series, “Love & WWE: Bianca & Montez.” In an interview with The Wrestling Classic, Belair admitted that it was strange to have cameras documenting her personal life outside of work.

Belair, known for her confident and charismatic persona in the ring, revealed that she is actually a shy and reserved person in real life. She expressed the desire to show her genuine self at home and provide viewers with a glimpse into her life beyond wrestling. Belair’s husband, Montez Ford, also appears in the reality series, showcasing their dynamic as a couple.

While adjusting to being constantly followed by cameras was challenging, Belair embraced the opportunity to be authentic and hopes that fans will enjoy seeing this side of her.

In conclusion, Ivar’s singles run in WWE RAW has garnered praise for his in-ring performances, but there is room for improvement in his promo skills. On the other hand, Bianca Belair’s experience with being followed by cameras for a reality series offers fans a chance to see her true personality outside of the wrestling ring. Both instances highlight the challenges and opportunities that arise when professional wrestlers step into the spotlight beyond their in-ring personas.
