WWE & Impact Wrestling Hall of Famer is saddened to see the overuse of the Canadian Destroyer, claiming the move has been “prostituted.”
Much has been said about the move, which was used as a transitional spot between Orange Cassidy and Penta El Zero Miedo during last week’s Dynamite.

On “Busted Open Radio,” Ray gave his two cents on the move when discussing the match from AEW Dynamite. He said,
“In my opinion, the Canadian Destroyer was one of the best original finishing moves I’ve ever seen. Love the move… I’ve seen the move over the past couple of years start to get overused, start to get prostituted, start to get watered-down.
“How many more moves are we just gonna throw away? Veterans have to stop allowing young wrestlers to just do whatever they want because it’s wrong. Veterans have to do a better job policing and educating.”
Cassidy would win his match with Penta, retaining the AEW International title in the process, but would lose the title to Jon Moxley at AEW All Out.
