Bully Ray Calls Darby Allin A ‘Crash Test Dummy’

On the current episode of the Busted Open Radio podcast, Bully Ray (the previous Bubba Ray Dudley) showered appreciation on previous TNT Champion Darby Allin. Darby Allin beat Samoa Joe to win the TNT Championship last month, prior to losing the title back to Joe on today’s episode of Dynamite.

The WWE & & TNA Hall of Famer applauded Darby Allin’s efficiency on last night’s program, and likewise went on to applaud his character work. He likewise compared the previous TNT Champion to Spike Dudley. Here’s what Bully Ray needed to state:

“Darby Allin is to AEW what Spike Dudley was to ECW. He’s like the crash test dummy – – taking any bumps doing all this insane things. Undoubtedly, Darby has a lot more charm and depth than Spike had, which is why he’s so over with the audience. With Spike, it was more about him simply going to get his a ** kicked and be tossed around and take the sickest bumps ever.”
