Bully Ray has gone on record stating that superstars CM Punk, and Drew McIntyre must fulfill what Punk has vowed during WWE Bad Blood 2024.
The recent episode of WWE RAW saw CM Punk stage a promo in which he expressed his readiness to mark this as the closing match of his career, further promising that McIntyre would be made to bleed.
Bully Ray shared his insights during a recent stint on the podcast named “Busted Open Radio,” expressing his expectations for the bout. He went on record to assert,
“The title of the PLE is Bad Blood. It’s set to be a Hell in a Cell match where the protagonist has manifested a certainty that there would be bloodshed. This is something that needs to be lived up to… When we talk about this cell match featuring Drew and Punk, my anticipation is that the outcome is dictated by the two contestants, their fists, and the cell acting as the trick. Suppose there’s a table beneath the ring, that could be fine.”
Ray added more to his sentiment, “Should there be a concealed weapon, perhaps a reference to a strap since their last encounter was a Strap Match, I could accept that. However, as an audience member, I dislike seeing numerous gadgets being revealed from underneath the ring. I don’t want to see a toolbox come out. That’s not something I favor.”
In an unrelated development, McIntyre took to Instagram to assure, “There’s a promise I can make as well. One of us will not be exiting the Hell in a Cell upright.”
