WWE Hall of Fame member Bully Ray is eagerly looking forward to the potential match-up between MJF and RUSH at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door event, scheduled for 2024.
He expressed his excitement about the upcoming match in a recent episode of the “Busted Open After Dark” podcast, following last Wednesday’s Dynamite episode.

When discussing the face-off between MJF and RUSH on AEW Dynamite, he stated, “The most important thing they did was that they hooked me. I’m want to purchase tickets for the Forbidden Door event just based on what I saw between Max and Rush that night. I’ll be bold here – I’m more pumped for Max and Rush’s showdown than I’ve ever been for any of Max’s previous fights in AEW. This includes his bouts against CM Punk, the dog collar match and even Max’s match against Bryan Danielson.”
Regarding the announcement of the match for next week’s show, Ray shared, “The anticipation of what they might do next week ensures that I’ll be watching. Not just because I need to discuss it on this program, but also because, as a supporter, I was incredibly taken aback by Max and Rush’s performance.”
