It was revealed on Tuesday night that Marcus “Buff” Bagwell was arrested on July 13th with him being released from jail two nights later.
The Cobb County records in Marietta, GA indicated the former WWE/WCW star was originally pulled over for speeding and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Drugs. Both are misdemeanors.
For years, Bagwell has dealt with legal issues related to substance abuse. He issued the following statement today:
“Just wanted to clarify to everyone that I am 11 months sober (tomorrow). I see there is news out that I had to spend time in jail for a DUI but this was from the original offense years ago. I did get a recent sanction because I didn’t document a recent trip out of state properly.”
