Buddy Matthews, former AEW Trios Champion and a member of the House of Black, has reportedly signed a new contract with All Elite Wrestling according to sources.
The wrestling news outlet, WrestlePurists, reported the multi-talented athlete’s recent signing, although the details of when the contract was signed or the duration of the deal remain unknown.
Matthews started his journey with AEW back in February 2022 and has been a part of the House of Black ever since. After tying the knot with his wife Rhea Ripley, he was scripted to exit television for a brief period last month.
Matthews last graced the AEW ring in a Trios match on a June edition of Collision, which marked the show’s one-year anniversary. As per the script, he emerged victorious in that match.
