In a recent interview with ESPN, WWE Hall of Famer Brie Garcia revealed that her husband, Bryan Danielson, had previously considered a UFC fight, but doctors and a medical team prevented him from stepping inside the octagon.

Brie said, “No. He really wanted to years ago and I said no. My husband is incredible at grappling training. I mean, he’s worked with some of the UFC guys, but when you have a husband who’s had a lot of concussions, that’s the last place you want to see him. Doctors, too. The whole medical team. All of us were like, ‘Bryan, it sounds great, but…’ For me, as a wife, I look at longevity. Bryan and I are coming up to our 10-year wedding anniversary, and I know we’re going to have 20-30 more years. So, for me, it’s his health in the long run, not the short term.”

Brie Bella Reveals Husband Bryan Danielson’s Previous Interest in UFC Fight

In a recent interview with ESPN, Brie Bella, WWE Hall of Famer and wife of Bryan Danielson, shared that her husband had considered a UFC fight in the past. However, doctors and a medical team advised against it due to Danielson’s history of concussions.

Bella explained, “He really wanted to years ago and I said no. My husband is incredible at grappling training. I mean, he’s worked with some of the UFC guys, but when you have a husband who’s had a lot of concussions, that’s the last place you want to see him. Doctors, too. The whole medical team. All of us were like, ‘Bryan, it sounds great, but…’ For me, as a wife, I look at longevity.”

The concern for Danielson’s long-term health was the primary reason for Bella’s decision. With their 10-year wedding anniversary approaching and the hope for many more years together, Bella prioritized her husband’s well-being over any short-term aspirations.
