Later this month at AEW All In 2024, Bryan Danielson has been set to contest Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship.
During a recent conversation on “Gorilla Position,” Danielson expressed his thoughts on the meeting between Shane McMahon, a prominent figure in the wrestling world, and AEW President CEO Tony Khan.
The private meeting between McMahon and Khan took place last week at a secluded airport situated in Arlington, TX.
The chat’s key points can be found below:
Danielson gave his insight into the possibility of collaboration with Shane McMahon in AEW, saying, “I don’t have any issues with anyone. I am totally open to collaborating with anyone, including Shane McMahon.”
Regarding Tony Khan’s recent encounter with McMahon, Danielson stated, “On one hand, even if I was aware, I wouldn’t disclose it to you. On the other hand, I genuinely have no idea [laughs]. It was quite intriguing, because after the photo of their meeting was published, Tony remarked to me, ‘I didn’t tell you earlier, but I had met with Shane McMahon’. My internal response was, ‘Yes, it’s quite apparent. The photo has circulated everywhere.’ To be honest, I am not usually cognizant of these happenings because I am not an avid user of Twitter or other social media platforms.”
