Bryan Danielson, known as one of the most resilient competitors in professional wrestling, realizes his apple doesn’t fall very far from the tree regarding his son, Buddy.
Danielson shared some insights into his life as a father during a recent episode of “The Daily Migs Show.” He discussed the differences between his son, Buddy, and his daughter, Birdie.
“We had a meeting with my daughter’s teacher, who told us, ‘Your daughter is exemplary. She’s an outstanding student and incredibly helpful.’” Bryan narrated.
His story took an amusing turn later that night as he recalled, “Right after that, I received an email from Buddy’s school informing us he had been expelled for ‘biting two teachers and poking one in the eye.’ [laughs]. Unsurprisingly, they said, ‘Well, the wrestler’s son is poking someone in the eye.’ Some things I’ve done…[laughs]. We had to clarify, ‘No, we don’t allow him to watch wrestling. That’s not who I am off the ring.’”
Birdie Danielson came into the world in 2017, courtesy of Danielson and Brie Garcia, his wife. The couple joyfully welcomed Buddy in 2020.
The recent loss of the AEW World Championship at WrestleDream 2024 to Jon Moxley signaled the end of Danielson’s full-time wrestling career.
Recently, Bryan Danielson has been transparent about his health challenges, suggesting he might undergo neck surgery before the year concludes.
