Former AEW World Champion, Bryan Danielson, is searching high and low for alternatives to surgery as doubts cloud his future in the wrestling ring.

Ever since AEW WrestleDream 2024, where his reign as champion and full-time profession came to an abrupt end due to Jon Moxley, Danielson has not been seen competing.

In a recent discussion with Denise Salcedo at the All In: Texas tickets launch event, Danielson opened up about the current health status of his neck and his ongoing recovery journey. He stated,

“My neck is currently in a bad shape. We were just engaging in a conversation about this not long ago. It’s majorly contributing to my insomnia and some additional health problems.

“I’m attempting to evade it [surgery] as much as feasible. For me, surgery is considered a last alternative, never the first. Hence, I’m exploring various routes. I’m a quirky individual, you know? Those who know me well, are aware of my quirkiness. I desire to try some alternative routes before subjecting to an operation. Currently, that’s my course of action.”

Danielson expressed that regardless of this roadblock, he remains happy and cherishes the extra time he now gets to spend with his family – significantly his wife and their kids.

During the tickets launch event, Bryan revealed that he will be participating in All In: Texas on July 12. More information can be found here. The following video provides further detail on Bryan Danielson’s current situation and future plans.
