Bryan Danielson and Nick Jackson kicked off tonight’s episode of AEW Rampage, with Danielson walking out with a huge win before a brawl kicked off.

The two superstars displayed their technical prowess during the match, with Bryan Danielson making sure to showcase all of his skills against Jackson. To his credit, Jackson wouldn’t give up, even when Danielson began to work on Jackson’s left shoulder over and over. Towards the end of the match, though, the two abandoned technicality for more splashy moves, with Danielson trapping Jackson outside of the ropes and nailing him with a series of kicks.

Towards the end of the match, Jackson and Danielson began battling outside of the ring, and Danielson was able to trick Jackson into delivering a huge kick to that allowed Danielson to get momentum back. After throwing Jackson back into the ring, Danielson trapped Jackson in the Cattle Mutilation submission, forcing Jackson to tap and giving Bryan the win.

Following the match, the remaining members of The Elite came down to the ring, which prompted Christian Cage and Jurassic Express to come down and join Danielson. A brawl broke out into the ring, which ended with Jungle Boy trapping Adam Cole in a Snare Trap, while Danielson locked Kenny Omega in the LeBell Lock.
