During a recent appearance on “The Nikki & Brie Show,” AEW wrestler Bryan Danielson noted that he regrets the time he missed with his family after signing with WWE and spending so much time on the road compared to when he was grinding on the independent circuit.

Danielson also stated that he regrets barely seeing his father very much in the last years of the old man’s life.

He said, “On the independents, I had a lot more free time and freedom to be with my family. I lost time that I would have had with my dad, and then he passed away. When I thought when I was done with all this, when my schedule slowed down and all that kind of stuff, I’d be able to get to spend more time with him and that sort of thing. So I thought, ‘When I’m done with this run, I’ll be able to do this,’ and then I wasn’t. In the last years of his life, I barely got to see my dad.”

Danielson failed to dethrone AEW Continental Classic Champion Eddie Kingston this past Sunday at AEW Revolution 2024.

In a recent interview on “The Nikki & Brie Show,” professional wrestler Bryan Danielson, who is currently signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), opened up about his regrets regarding the time he missed with his family during his tenure with WWE. Danielson expressed remorse for not being able to spend as much time with his loved ones while he was constantly on the road, especially compared to when he was wrestling on the independent circuit.

During the interview, Danielson specifically mentioned his father and how he deeply regrets not being able to spend quality time with him in the last years of his life. He explained that when he was wrestling on the independent circuit, he had more free time and freedom to be with his family. However, after signing with WWE, his schedule became much more demanding, leaving him with limited opportunities to be with his loved ones.

Danielson shared his disappointment, saying, “I lost time that I would have had with my dad, and then he passed away.

This candid revelation from Danielson highlights the sacrifices and challenges that professional wrestlers often face in their personal lives due to their demanding schedules and constant travel. While the wrestling industry offers incredible opportunities and success, it also comes at a cost of missing out on important moments with family and loved ones.

Despite his regrets about missing time with his family, Danielson continues to pursue his passion for wrestling in AEW. Recently, he competed in a high-profile match against Eddie Kingston for the AEW Continental Classic Championship at AEW Revolution 2024. Unfortunately, Danielson was unable to dethrone Kingston and secure the championship.

Danielson’s heartfelt reflection serves as a reminder of the importance of balancing one’s personal and professional life, especially in a career as demanding as professional wrestling. It sheds light on the sacrifices that wrestlers make to entertain fans and achieve their dreams, while also emphasizing the significance of cherishing time with loved ones.
