Wrestler Gabe Kidd has finally issued a response to his fellow professional wrestler Kenny Omega’s tweet from last week. This was in response to Omega’s message suggesting Kidd needs to win the G1 wrestling tournament before he’d consider sharing his skills with him.
On Tuesday, Kidd reposted Omega’s tweet and crafted his own message,
“Firstly, let me just take off the caps lock real quick so we can have a serious talk.
I’ve been out, having a good time with beautiful Japanese women every evening of the G1, outperforming everyone around me. So, excuse my delay in reacting.
Next, you’re out of line. I did not even throw shade on you. I just indirectly implied that I’m slated to give you a serious beating one day, which is nothing but the truth.
A quick joke on you, Kenneth. How can you share “The Kenny Omega touch” if I shatter your nose in a mere 2 minutes?
I’m not like Ospreay or Okada.
A wrestling match with me is unlike any you’ve ever experienced. You’ve heard this a lot from wrestlers who don’t walk the talk, but I am not one of them.
I plan on elevating New Japan to a level even you couldn’t reach. The reason you left is that you felt you had reached your potential and chose to flee to America.
While you recover, I might just allow you the opportunity to go up against Japan’s most renowned wrestler.
By the way, my mentions have been jam-packed with trolls for nearly a week. So, I may just find out where you live and confront you in person regardless.
See you sooner than you think, coward.”
Meanwhile, Bryan Danielson recently appeared on the “Gorilla Position” podcast to discuss various subjects, including his perspective on Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis in light of recent allegations of their involvement in a sex trafficking and abuse scandal involving ex-WWE employee Janel Grant.
Danielson stated, “The victims are in an immeasurably worse position than I am. My empathies lie with them. I don’t have much to say regarding the issue. My potential ex-father-in-law, Laurinaitis, is also implicated in these allegations. It’s difficult when your perception of someone changes so drastically when something like this happens. However terrible it may be for me emotionally, it pales in comparison to what the victims, exploited by those in power, have been subjected to.”
