In the recent episode of the “Gorilla Position” podcast, Bryan Danielson opened up about his work with AEW’s creative department, and his future plans after retiring from professional wrestling.
Here are some excerpts from the conversation:
Addressing his role in AEW’s creative wing, Danielson revealed: “Right now, I provide a bit of creative assistance. But it’s not a scheduled thing. Tony might call me to discuss some ideas, or ask me about my thoughts for a specific plot or direction. The frequency changes, sometimes it’s three times a week, sometimes not even once in three weeks.”
When questioned about whether his behind-the-scene contributions might continue post his retirement, he mentioned, “I’m uncertain about how that aspect of my collaboration with AEW will evolve. It depends on how comfortably I settle into it and how comfortable they are with it. I also prefer not to travel a lot, which is another factor to consider physically, in the overall wrestling scope.”
