Ilja Dragunov has proclaimed himself ready to pulverize Bron Breakker’s bones, following another act of aggression by the second-generation superstar, carried out against the ‘Mad Dragon’ during their confrontation on RAW.
In the concluding episode of the show, Dragunov squared off against Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn. However, an unceremonious attack by Breakker on both men resulted in an unresolved match.
In a “Digital Exclusive” for WWE RAW, Dragunov didn’t mince his words. If a confrontation is what Breakker is seeking, Dragunov is more than prepared to meet him head-on. Dragunov asserted,
“My only message to Bron Breakker is that there exist some bones inside him that I’m yet to shatter. It’s as straightforward as that. And as for the rest, yes indeed, I’m exceedingly close. What do you wish to convey by questioning this? Sami Zayn epitomizes a true champion. He’s at his peak when he’s fighting from the trenches, and without fail, he gives his all in the ring. Much like me. Today, I demonstrated that I’m capable of the same.
“I made it clear to everyone that I have the capacity to hold my own in this game. If there are still skeptics at this stage, then they must be blind, because if you look my way, you’ll see a shining beacon of determination, and I have no intention of calling it quits just yet. Not by a long shot.”
Dragunov’s match from this week marks his third time as the notable event on Monday Night RAW subsequent to his main roster induction during this year’s WWE Draft.
Notably, it was Dragunov’s premiere championship contest on the main roster. The ‘Mad Dragon’ has previously held the NXT UK and NXT Championship titles.
