The freshly minted WWE Intercontinental Champion, Bron Breakker, has openly expressed his desire for Paul Heyman, who has been absent from the WWE screen for a considerable length of time, to manage him.
In a media interaction ahead of WWE SummerSlam 2024, Breakker was solicited on his views about the possibility of forming an alliance with the esteemed WWE Hall of Famer. He articulated,
“I think I would love that. I think Paul would love that. We’ll just have to see. One day.”
This isn’t the first time Heyman made a brief alliance with Breakker. This was evidenced in the October 10th episode of WWE NXT, where Breakker had a face-off with Carmelo Hayes, who had veteran wrestler John Cena backing him up.
Interestingly, this high-octane episode of WWE NXT resulted in an undisputed victory over rival show AEW Dynamite, even though the latter was a high-attraction show that had been rescheduled from its regular Wednesday slot.
At WWE SummerSlam 2024, Breakker managed to snatch the Intercontinental Championship from Sami Zayn, thereby abruptly ending the latter’s dominance of 118 days.
