Bron Breakker is primed and set to grab the chance that lies in front of him after vanquishing Ilja Dragunov and Sami Zayn in the most recent WWE Monday Night RAW episode.
During last Monday’s RAW broadcast, Breakker established himself as the prime challenger for the Intercontinental Championship after outclassing Ilja Dragunov through a referee’s stoppage.
Following his stunning victory over Dragunov using a spear, Breakker struck down Sami Zayn after joining hands with Jey Uso to overcome The Judgment Day in the final event of the show.
In a RAW’ Digital Exclusive’ event, Breakker was queried whether he felt any regret over the dramatic sequence of events on the program. To this, he replied,
“I demonstrated to the world tonight the outcome of squaring up with me when I am at my fiercest, undivided attention. I am the most formidable force in that locker room. Sami Zayn, your time is up. The pipedreams you sell to these die-hard fans every week about how you withstand a barrage and yet keep bouncing back, fighting tooth and nail for survival, all that optimism ends now.
“In a face-off with me at SummerSlam, I will shatter you to the point of regretting your decision. It’s high time the younger brigade gets their shot, the rookies finally get some recognization and rise to the occasion. Zayn, imagine yourself as Kirby Smart to my Nick Saban. You may have struck gold once, but that luck won’t serve you again.”
Breakker will take on Zayn at WWE SummerSlam 2024 slated for August 3. This duo have already butted heads at WWE Money in the Bank, where Zayn managed to hold on to his title.
