The House of Black’s Brody King from All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is set to lock horns with David Finlay from New Japan Pro Wrestling at the forthcoming Wrestle Kingdom event on January 5 – a development that has been officially confirmed.
On their official twitter handle, New Japan posted a video clip in which Black was seen accepting the open challenge put forth by the current IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion.
The highly anticipated event, Wrestle Dynasty, is all set to take place in Tokyo, Japan on January 5, and promises a dazzling display of talent from various promotions including AEW, Ring of Honor, STARDOM, New Japan, and CMLL.
Interestingly, this event follows right after NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom which is scheduled a day earlier on January 4. This event is set to mark a noteworthy comeback of Kenny Omega to the ring after a hiatus of more than a year.
