Ric Flair has voiced his admiration for Brock Lesnar’s in-ring wrestling capabilities, even as the ex-WWE Universal Champion is presently on break from professional wrestling.
In an installment of the ‘Busted Open Radio’ podcast, Flair opened up about Lesnar, who hasn’t been seen in a WWE ring since SummerSlam 2023. Flair stated,
“He possesses an athletic prowess that’s nearly unmatched. He’s on par with someone like Kurt Angle. There’s a select few who can practically do everything, and these two are among them.”
Early this year, Lesnar’s involved with WWE was shadowed due to his linkage to Janel Grant’s litigation. She filed a case against WWE, putting forth allegations of sexual maltreatment and trafficking instigated by Vince McMahon.
During the podcast, Flair asserted that Brock and Kurt, in his view, are two all-rounders in the ring, but when it comes to female wrestlers, only one fits the description. He added,
“The one female wrestler who can handle everything is Charlotte Flair…I can’t wait for her return.”
Due to a knee injury she attained in a WWE SmackDown episode, Charlotte has been inactive since the previous year’s December.
