Britt Baker isn’t slowing down any time soon, broken wrist or not.

Britt Baker posted a new photo of her recent run-in with Paige VanZant, along with revealing she’s also dealing with a broken wrist. Baker says she was dealing with the injury while she retained her AEW Women’s Championship over Nyla Rose at night two of AEW Dynamite: Fyter Fest. Not to worry, however, as Baker says she’s still not taking any time off despite the injury.

With @paigevanzant…And oh yeah, I retained the title on Wednesday night at #aewdynamite with a broken wrist. Not taking any time off either. #AndStill

Baker met up with VanZant prior to her Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship match against Rachael Ostovich at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa on Friday. Ostovich ultimately won the fight, a decision win after a five-round battle.

Wednesday’s match against Nyla Rose marked Baker’s first title defense since winning the AEW Women’s World Championship at AEW Double Or Nothing in May. She currently has a singles record of 11-1 this year, with an overall record of 29-14 since joining the company.
