In a recent episode of the YouTube series, “DDP’s Gauntlet”, wrestling star Dr. Britt Baker brought up her memorable Lights Out Anything Goes Match. This thrilling bout took place against Thunder Rosa during a March 2021 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Baker surprisingly disclosed that she received some valuable tips from Chris Jericho in anticipation of that match. Speaking on the show, Baker said, “That was the most nervous I’ve ever been in my life. I never interacted with a table bump before. Jericho volunteered a video beforehand on how to pull it through, and it was hilarious. I’ll treasure it forever.”
The Lights Out match ended with Thunder Rosa celebrating victory. Despite this, the feud between both women persisted after Baker seized the AEW Women’s World Championship.
On a different occasion, during his time on the “Going Ringside” podcast, Adam Cole dove into a discussion regarding Toni Storm’s recent return to AEW and her haunting experiences with a form of memory loss or amnesia.
Cole proposed that Storm, who had previously lost the AEW Women’s World Title, might currently be struggling to cope with the shock of her betrayal by Mariah May. “I don’t really understand what’s going on with Toni Storm. Without a doubt, she encountered something wildly traumatic, so she could be trying to process all of that. Honestly, I hope Toni Storm is able to comprehend everything that’s happening to her soon because she’s an incredible talent.” commented Cole.
