Baker’s tweet emerged months after her latest face-off for AEW. She emerged victorious against Penelope Ford in the November 13, 2024, episode of AEW Dynamite.
Early in 2025, there were reports stating that Baker had created controversy within AEW, and it was suggested that Tony Khan was “exasperated” with the “infamously disliked” ex-champion.
Baker became a part of AEW in 2019, being the first female fighter to sign on. She clinched the Women’s World Title from May 2021 to March 2022.
