Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards faced off on tonight’s episode of IMPACT Wrestling, and Myers took the loss in his first singles action since he was released from WWE.

During the match – which was the main event for the episode – Myers answered Edwards’ open challenge for the IMPACT World Championship, and although he put up a big fight against Edwards, things didn’t go his way. Late in the match, Edwards was able to land the Boston Knee Party on Myers to close things out, although Myers performed well enough to give fans hope that he can continue rising on IMPACT.
