Kendrick just recently appeared on the Reffin It Up With Brian Hebner podcast where he revealed his desire to retire versus Bryan Danielson, with whom he started his professional wrestling profession. He stated,

“I do not understand what it would be due to the fact that I ‘d desire it to be whatever the most romantic is. What’s the most stunning story? Since we began together, a simple one is Bryan Danielson. That’s who I constantly imagined my last match protesting. Might it protest somebody who trained me like (William) Regal or Shawn Michaels or Regal’s child [Charlie Dempsey] Do I have my last match putting over the boy of my coach, that’s truly romantic.”

“Ilja Dragunov is a person who I’m definitely passing away to battle. My preferred individual to battle is Rich Swann, so do I have it versus my preferred man to work? I wish to concentrate on it, however it would need to be the most romantic.”

Just time will inform if Kendrick’s dream will ever pertain to fulfillment.
