At the recent AEW All In London 2024 pay-per-view event held at Wembley Stadium, Brian Cage and Sammy Guevara displayed Wolverine-inspired costumes while representing rival teams.
After the event, Cage voiced out his thoughts on their Wolverine-themed attire via his Twitter account.
Both Cage and Guevara were part of an intense 10-man tag team match during the Zero Hour pre-show. Their costumes bore a striking resemblance to the X-Men character’s wardrobe in Marvel’s Deadpool and Wolverine series.
The wrestler known as the ‘Swolverine’ released a video on Twitter that detailed his personal history of adopting Wolverine-inspired attire and skillfully weaving Wolverine-inspired moves into his wrestling maneuvers.
In his own words, he tweeted, “I ain’t ripping off nobody, I be getting ripped off. Of course, who better? Sammy Guevara, he’s the Wish Wolverine. I’m the real Wolverine. I’m post-Weapon X program, Sammy Guevara’s 1800s James Howlett.”
