In a joint effort, New Japan Pro Wrestling, All Japan Pro Wrestling, and Pro Wrestling NOAH have announced their upcoming pay-per-view event, “All Together Again,” to take place on June 9th at Sumo Hall in Tokyo. The event will mark a “feeling of renewal” in response to the devastating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to NJPW Chairman Naoki Sugabayashi at a press conference. A portion of the proceeds will go to charity, and further details on this will be released at a later date.

“All Together” was first held in 2011 as a fundraiser in response to the earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan that year. The event returned in 2012 and has not been held since. The pay-per-view will be available live on New Japan World for ¥3,980 (approximately $30 US), with both English and Japanese commentary options. Tickets for the event will be available for purchase on April 23rd.

Representatives from each promotion, including NOAH’s Kaito Kiyomiya, AJPW’s Kento Miyahara, and NJPW’s Hiroshi Tanahashi, were present at the press conference to promote “All Together Again.”

Kaito Kiyomiya said:When the first All Together happened, I was still in middle school. But talking to the staff that were there that day, they explained how there was a real sense of togetherness, and that for the people to have fun, the staff had to have fun as well. I feel the same way from a wrestler’s standpoint as well, and even though I’ll be competing, I want to enjoy this event.”

Kento Miyahara said:I’m already excited to be a part of this event, to combine all three of our companies. When cheering returned to pro wrestling, that was when we were able to have a new start. I hope pro wrestling fans are pumped for the kind of card that only an event like this can offer. I’m more excited than anyone.”

Hiroshi Tanahashi said: “Over ten years have gone by since the last All Together. I think the primary goal here is for wrestling fans to enjoy themselves, but then to take a positive energy and power that wrestling provides, and bring that to their families, their friends and their workplaces. I think that professional wrestling can bring a tremendous positive energy to the world on June 9.”
