On this week’s episode of WWE NXT, Williams defeated Ilja Dragunov in the main event to capture the NXT Championship. Williams would have left WWE NXT if he lost the match.
Dragunov’s WWE NXT World Title reign comes to an end at 206 days. This marks Williams’ first run with the WWE NXT World Title.
It is said that Dragunov will be called up to the main roster during the 2024 WWE Draft, which begins on Friday’s episode of SmackDown.
