Adam Cole suffered an injury during Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam TV tapings.
During the main event match between MJF and Samoa Joe, Cole appeared to have injured his ankle when he jumped from the entrance ramp to the floor. Cole was noticeably limping for the remainder of the match.
As of this writing, there is no word on how serious the injury is. We hope to have more for you later this AM.
It was previously reported here on eWn that Jon Moxley appeared to have suffered a concussion on Dynamite. It is believed the finish of the AEW International Championship match was changed, with Rey Fenix going over and capturing the title.
For those wondering, the kid in the backstage segment with MJF prior to the main event, which was a parody of the famous Bret Hart vignette (see below), was named Austin. He is the son of WrestlePro star Craig Steele.

This led to a change in the finish of the AEW International Championship match, with Rey Fenix winning and capturing the title. The safety and well-being of wrestlers is always a top priority, and any signs of injury or potential concussions are taken seriously by promotions like AEW.
During the event, there was also a backstage segment featuring MJF and a young boy named Austin.
