Bray Wyatt final match with the company took place at WrestleMania 37 against Randy Orton when Alexa Bliss cost him the match and effectively took over his Fiend gimmick with her new Alexa’s Playground gimmick.
Prior to his repackaging in 2019, Bray Wyatt was one of the first major callups from the NXT brand, having a legacy of WrestleMania moments with names such as John Cena, The Rock, The Undertaker, and Randy Orton.
He also captured multiple championships in WWE including the Raw Tag Team Championship with Matt Hardy, a WWE Championship which he gained in the Elimination Chamber in 2017 and two WWE Universal Championship reigns.
Alexa Bliss commented on his release saying that the most fun she had ever had in her career was when they worked together.
“I really am at a loss for words… thank you so much Windham for everything you’ve done for this company. The most fun I’ve had is working with you. Such an amazing talent & the most kind person. I’m just in shock,” said Bliss on Twitter.
WrestleZone will continue to monitor and report any updates to the story.
