His last match, which dates back to the WWE RAW episode aired on May 1, 2023, was followed by a hiatus of over a year. Strowman marked his return by defeating Shinsuke Nakamura in an exciting clash, reaffirming his status as a former Universal Champion.
Off the main event, Jey Uso managed to score a victory over GUNTHER, albeit through disqualification. This took place after GUNTHER hit Uso with an unfair low blow, leading to his disqualification.
