In a recent conversation with Denise Salcedo, WWE personality Kayla Becker, better known as Kayla Braxton, opened up about her experience of working with Paul Heyman. She discussed the organic development of their on-screen relationship as well as their dynamic during the ThunderDome era and on the panel show Talking Smack.
Reflecting on her initial interactions with Heyman, Becker acknowledged him as “one of the most, if not the most, brilliant mind in wrestling.” She also mentioned how their relationship began during the pandemic when they were put together on Talking Smack. Becker admitted that Heyman initially overwhelmed her with his loud and assertive presence but emphasized that his guidance greatly contributed to her evolution as a broadcaster.
Speaking on their on-screen chemistry, Becker revealed how they often created mini storylines during Talking Smack. She said those mini arcs often transitioned into actual TV storylines. She cherished the fact that not many people had the opportunity to work this closely with the “Wise Man”.
In other news, Braun Strowman confirmed through Instagram that he endured a torn groin injury during his “Last Monster Standing Match” with Bronson Reed on WWE RAW. Despite the injury, he successfully pushed through the match, affirming his title as “The Monster Of All Monsters.”
