Bound For Glory Fallout: Callihan Isn’t Finished With Cage, AXS TV Debut Plans

Last night, IMPACT Wrestling held its annual Bound For Glory show, an all-around feel-good moment for the often beleaguered company. The PPV was filled with debuts, surprises, and great matches, all backed by a great crowd that was into every minute. As American wrestling continues to expand over the course of 2019, IMPACT is proving that they deserve to be in the conversation, and they’re not done yet.

Tomorrow, IMPACT debuts on AXS TV with a This is Impact special. It will include highlights from last night’s PPV and a new three on three tag match between The Rascalz and the team of Taurus, Dr. Wagner Jr., and Aerostar. Following the special and a set of TV tapings set for this week, IMPACT will air regularly in that timeslot on the network.

One name set for those tapings in Ken Shamrock, who will continue on with the company after his showcase match with Moose. Another pair that will continue their feud after Bound for Glory is Sami Calihan and Brian Cage. Calihan posted on Twitter that he is still aiming for Cage’s belt, and that “this sh*t isn’t over.”

This shit ain’t over.

You though the lead up to tonight was rough @MrGMSI_BCage?

IMPACT joins a surprisingly crowded Tuesday lineup, as AEW and NWA have already moved to fill the gap left by SmackDown. With IMPACT trying to start fresh, only time will tell if the promotion can reclaim some of the past glory that it’s always bounding towards.
