Both AEW & NXT Viewership Down As They Go Up Against MLB Playoffs

Viewership was down for both All Elite Wrestling and NXT this week as they went head-to-head against MLB playoff baseball.

AEW pulled in 1.018 million viewers on TNT per Showbuzz Daily, which is down from the 1.409 million they got last week. However, they also pulled in 122,000 viewers on TruTV (they were simulcast due to the MLB games). So that means AEW Dynamite did 1.140 million total during their second week. That’s a drop of over 250,000.

Meanwhile, NXT pulled in 790,000 viewers during its two-hour run. That is down from the 845,000 last week. It’s hard to read too much into the drops considering the competition, but it does mark two straight weeks that AEW has come out on top.
