Booker T’s Lawsuit Against Activision To Continue Litigation
Booker T will continue his non-squared circle feud with the video game company, Activision. Screen Rant shared the news that the two-time WWE Hall Of Famer filed a lawsuit against the publisher in February 2018 for using what appears to be his likeness for a character in the company’s infamous Call Of Duty: Black Ops series. A motion to dismiss or transfer the case was filed by Activision in retaliation, but a judge in Texas has declined their motion and made the ruling for the case to move forward, stating the following:
“Because a side-by-side comparison of the works identified in Plaintiff’s complaint are sufficiently similar to plausibly allege striking similarity, Plaintiff has adequately pleaded copying.”
There is no word as to when the litigation will continue, but WrestleZone will keep you updated as the story develops.
