Hall of Fame inductee and current WWE NXT commentator, Booker T, was as astonished as the viewers when Ethan Page showed up on the established gold brand.
Ethan Page, soon after his departure from AEW, took the fans by surprise when he showed up on the latest episode of WWE NXT, launching an unexpected attack on the prevailing WWE NXT Champion, Trick Williams.
In one of his latest episodes on his “Hall of Fame” podcast, Booker T shared his thoughts on Page’s unexpected appearance at the event. He expressed,
“It completely took me by surprise. I was sitting there at the table, and suddenly, Ethan Page was in the ring. His face showed up, revealing his identity. I’m going to tell you, I had no idea Ethan Page was going to be there until the moment actually came. What made it really awesome was that we were discussing it with zero leaks. I was under the impression that Ethan Page was still a part of the AEW … It reminded me of something I haven’t witnessed in wrestling for quite some time, where the wrestlers are left wondering, ‘What in the world is happening here?’ It was indeed a memorable moment.”
News has it that Ethan Page has entered into a contract with WWE. Page, commonly known as the All-Ego talent, denied the rumors but mentioned that WWE knows how to get in touch with him.
